Several holders in welded construction have been produced by Dagoform since several years.
This specific holder is a challenge for the existing know-how. The work position of the robot manipulator (having a remarkable torsion effect), its specific weight (around 4 tonnes) and the need to create a low weight and high rigidity holder, should form a very interesting technical challenge.
With the support of a University, we have used finite element analysis and structure analysis using specific software during the project conception.
